Today for homeschool we saw the Rodeo Queen of Larimer County, Miss Paige Petrocco, and her horse Layla! I learned a lot from them today.
She has 3 horses: Layla, her first horse, a Quarter Horse, Ohana is her second horse, a Grey Gelding, and Kahlua, her newest horse, a red mare. And as you can see, the photo up above is of me and Layla, the queen horse!

This photo is of the Rodeo Queen (Paige) and Layla, Paige’s one in a million! These two have a crazy but sweet story! Paige grew up in Denver, CO. When she was 11 or 12 she moved to a place with 30 plus acres, in the Loveland area. She had always wanted a horse. When her family went to look at a horse in Berthoud, it wasn't broken or trained! But Paige ended up falling in love with this horse! She trained it and now they are besties and Queens by each other's side! Awesome, right?

Let me tell you a little about Layla! Layla's favorite snack is sunflowers, like you can see in the picture! She has had four babies, all before Paige got her! Paige got Layla when Layla was 6 and this year she will be 11! They grow so fast!
Paige and Layla practice their skills regularly!

Layla is a very nice horse and so is Paige! They are both people anyone would wanna be around! They both are so loving and kind, I would definitely vote for them to be Queens!

Did you know a horse’s teeth grow with their age? Well, kinda. It's how you tell how old a horse is! Like a tree, or an apple!

I would definitely go back any time. That is one experience I will always remember!
