Photography 101

One of the special topics Betty wants to study this school year is photography. Luckily, her grandpa (aka "Grandfrog") used to teach photography classes. He put together a full curriculum for her, utilizing a National Geographic textbook on photography.

Here's a peek inside her photography class. Last week, she prepared a presentation about a photo she took -- of crystals she grew from chemicals at her other grandparents' house.

Grammy was the special science teacher in this detailed chemistry experiment. Betty took photos of their crystal creations and then brought those photos to her other grandparents' house for the presentation. How cool to have both sets of grandparents close by and both involved with Betty's education.
